Frequently Asked Questions about HDNetHi and thanks for your interest in HDNet and HDNet Movies. Our viewers ask hundreds of questions of us every week. The most frequent of these questions are listed below and might help you find an immediate answer, before you send your email. If the answers below don't help, then please send an email to viewer@hd.net to access our viewer mail box to send us a note. Q: How do I obtain a DVD copy of a program that I have seen or missed?A: HDNet sells standard definition DVD copies of select programs (like Dan Rather Reports). We also offer Windows Media High Definition DVDs (for PCs and specialized DVD players) and Blu-Ray DVDs of some titles. Please see the HDNet Online Store for more information. If the program you are looking for isn’t listed, it means that we don’t offer copies of the program for sale. Q: I want to watch a replay of a program that I missed but I can’t find it on the schedule?A: The HDNet schedule is prepared about 10 to 14 days in advance, so, while we will most likely air the program again, we don't have a date set at this time. If you haven’t already, you may want to sign up to receive HDNet schedules via email. This way, you will have the most up-to-date scheduling information delivered right to your computer. You can do that easily by going to the HDNet Email List Page and choosing a schedule from the menu. Q: You stopped showing a program that I love to watch. What happened?A: With some of the acquired programming on HDNet, only a certain number of episodes have been produced. Instead of re-running the same episodes many times, we will often move the series to another time slot, or, stop airing it altogether for a certain period of time. A good example of this is a program like The Agency, where we aired all available episodes (there are 44) in Prime Time. |
